Saying Goodbye to Colorado

Though I'm not technically from Colorado, I have come to accept it as 'home'. It's where I've done a majority of my growing, learinging and changing. It's where my loved ones live. It's where I came to be the 'me' I am today.

Welcome to my first entry...

Following My Feet.

Typically I will be more present-day in my blog, but I'm going to take it back to the end of January before Joe and I moved to Ohio. Ironically, the last two weeks of living in Colorado were filled with many new encounters, experiences, changes and growth. I made new friendships, new bonds and felt closer to Colorado than I had in a while. But... then again.. I suppose that is normal when you know you will soon be saying goodbye.

We were lucky enough to celebrate Joe's 25th birthday with our family.

Dinner with family is wonderful :)

And I have a wonderful family.

Best family dinner ever... Lots of fun and laughter!

 and then...

before we knew it....

It was time to say goodbye..

Goodbye Colorado.

We will see you again soon!

"Why can't we get all the people together in the world that we really like and then just stay together? I guess that wouldn't work. Someone would leave. Someone always leaves. Then we would have to say goodbye. I hate goodbye's. I know what I need. I need more hellos."
